Da 'Pack endeavored two tough, back-to-back losses these last two Saturdays.

Last Sat. (April 18th), the new Dallas Defenders team scored the final TD with over 1:30 left in the game to defeat Da 'Pack 22-17, and took the Best of TX trophy.

NYPD came to town this Sat. (April 25th) and scored the first 27 points before Da 'Pack D slowed the bleeding in the second half enroute to an NYPD 34-0 shutout before a very-good crowd.  Da 'Pack had two chances to score, but the chances were ball-headed indeed.

The team closed the 2009 season on a 2-3 record.  We hope 2010 will be even better - and take back the Best of TX trophy!

"Turn to the fold of da Wolf Pack!!"  The Central Texas Wolf Pack chased the Devil to Georgia, and came away with a 19-16 nail-biting victory over the host Atlanta Defenders Sat., March 28th.

Again FF James Doyle (aka Mr. Utility) scored on a one-yard keeper for the 2nd of three TDs scored.  I understand Da 'Pack D made a defensive stance at end to negate an ATL comeback.  The win did not come without sacrifice, as Da 'Pack may have lost FF RB Tyson Poindexter for the season.

Da 'Pack will gear-up the next two weeks to face the Dallas Defenders in Frisco, TX on April 18th.  The new Texas team on the block will try to take the Best of TX trophy away from us, so any support will be appreciated!

The Central Texas Wolf Pack asserted to continue its winning streak over California teams from last year, as the visiting San Diego Enforcers came to town.  But the Enforcers 'enforced' their will against Da 'Pack, coming away with a 66-42 victory.  Da 'Pack though struck early on the first offensive play of the game, with another Dixon-to-Tucker hookup for a quick 7-0 lead.  But SD rolled up 28 unanswered, all in first quarter.  FF James Doyle tossed two TDs (an 80-yarder to Tucker, the other to FF Tyson Poindexter, 18B) and ran 7 yards for another.  FF Roger Davis has provided excellent kicking, making all 6 point-afters, as well progressing on defensive backfield duties, with a solo tackle and a pass deflection.

Da 'Pack will travel to Atlanta next Sat., March 28th.  A two-week break follows, then a TX showdown ensues in Big D vs. the Defenders.  We hope to have a big turnout for last home game vs. NYPD April 25th.  Come join us!

The Central Texas Wolf Pack opened its 2009 season Saturday, March 7th with a shutout of the Houston Gunners, 57-0, at the Toney Burger Center.  Offensively, QB Clint Dixon (APD) tossed for 167 yards and 3 TDs, with WR Shawndel Tucker (TCSO) on two receiving ends.  RB James Doyle (AFD) scored twice on his only carries, leading Da 'Pack rushing with 50 yards.  Da 'Pack D inflicted constant pain on the Gunner O.  CB Chris Hanratty (APD) had two picks, returning one for a TD.  DE Stephen Cornelius (APD) recorded 2.5 sacks and a fumble recovery.  The victory allowed Da 'Pack to seize the Best of Texas Trophy, inaugurated this year.

On next game, Da 'Pack will host the San Diego Enforcers Saturday, March 21st, 3:00 pm at the Burger Center.  Also, check out the revamped website at NPSFL.com!
