The Central TX Wolf Pack opened the 2011 season with a visit from Chicago's 'Finest,' the city's Police Dept Enforcers. Under partly cloudy skies but very warm weather, Da 'Pack took advantage of Enforcer miscues enroute to a 31-16 victory in front of a fairly good crowd. Your AFD brothers contributed to the guest's misery, as DB Roger Davis (1A) blocked a field goal that led to one 'Pack score; WR James Doyle (40B) had two long gains to setup two other scores; DB Jamie Silas (24C) deflected a pass and intercepted another; LB Marcus Bradley (1A) was in on a few tackles; OL Matt Wheeler (15C) provided pass protection; and DE Bo Allen (17B) had some sacks and returned an interception for a 'Pack score!
The Central TX Wolf Pack, a non-profit organization, is a proud 7-year member of the National Public Safety Football League (NPSFL), and supports children enrolled at the Eastside Communities YMCA. All gate proceeds are donated to this cause.
Da 'Pack's next game is against its in-state nemesis, the Dallas Defenders (formerly from the Dallas Panthers). The game is next Saturday, April 16th, in Big D, with both teams undefeated and Da 'Pack seeking to winch the Best of TX trophy from the Defenders.
